Switch Dragon Tiger Casino Game Rules
The Switch Dragon Tiger casino game is a simplified Asian-themed variation of baccarat themed around the eternal conflict between two elemental forces: the Dragon and the Tiger. On launching the game, you see a gaming table with two play areas featuring an Asian dragon on the left and a tiger on the right. Both beasts are exquisitely designed and have their Chinese characters underneath.
On your side of the table, there are four betting positions. They are Dragon on the left, Tie and Suited Tie in a circle in the middle, and Tiger on the right. The aim of the game is to predict which of the two beasts will come out on top in an epic battle in which their powers are represented by two playing cards.
Once you’ve placed your bets, a card is dealt from an eight-deck shoe to the Dragon position, followed by a card to the Tiger position. The cards are then flipped over to reveal the outcome, and the card with the highest value is the winner. Aces have a value of one, the card ranks nine to 10 have face value, and jacks, queens, and kings score 11, 12, and 13 points respectively.
If the card values are equal, it’s a Tie, and if two like cards are in the same suit, it’s a Suited Tie. Tie and Suited Tie are side bets, so you can place them in addition to the main bet. Payouts are 1:1 for winning Dragon or Tiger bets, 11:1 for a Tie, and 50:1 for a Suited Tie.
